Bought ours about the same time. I wanted two bikes, so my wife and I could ride. Decided to get the savage first so we could both re-learn how to ride. It had been twenty plus years since I last rode. I absolutly love the bike. I forgot how much I loved riding. And you just cant beat that classic chopper feel (let the kid's have the crotch rocket's). Everyone else seems to like it too. I catch everybody looking at it. Even the local Harley riders joined "me" for a ride around town this week. It was a ball. They loved the bike. Said it wasnt loud enough. To which I responded "yeah, but it's paid for". They all had an envious laugh about that. Have fun, I'm goin to.
